SAM WATSON AWARDED COLLEGE HOCKEY SOUTH 3rd STAR OF THE WEEK

Sam Watson wasted no time making an impact in the Owls season weekend debut. The forward collected two goals and four assists for total of six points in FAU’s pair of wins over the University Miami. Watson posted three points in each game, including the overtime thriller that gave the Owls a 5-4 victory after a 7-4 win the night before.  Congratulations Sam!

The FAU Hockey Club would like to extend a THANK YOU all the fans that came out to support our Division III team in their inaugural season. The team enjoyed great success finishing first in the regular season of Southern Division of the CHS (College Hockey South Conference).  The team finished with an impressive record of 16 wins and 6 losses and had multiple players named to the CHS All Star team.  After leading the league in scoring, Freshman forward Christian Cuccia (Flemington, NJ) was named league MVP.  Junior Defenseman Anthony Campagna (Setauket, NY) and freshman forward  Ayden Georgiano (Jackson, NJ) along with Cuccia, were named to the CHS First Team all Conference team.  The team is looking forward to the challenges of moving to the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Division III for the 2025-2026 season.  Thanks again for all the support!
